How We Work at Made in Cape
A clear process so you know what to expect at each stage of the project.
Working with a creative studio shouldn't be confusing. At Hecho en Cabo, we use a simple and transparent process that adapts to the type of project—branding, web, content, decor, or studio—but always follows the same logic: thoroughly understand your business, define a realistic scope, design and produce, implement, and adjust based on real-world feedback.
1. Discovery
We start with a call or meeting where we understand your business: type of operation, clients, season, team, what you already have (brand, social media, website), and what problem you want to solve. Here we also see if we're a good fit and if the project aligns with what the studio does.
Business context (hotel, restaurant, experience, product, etc.).
Current status of brand, website, networks and physical material.
Clear objectives: bookings, brand perception, on-site experience, etc.
Timing and emergencies (seasons, events, openings).
2. Scope and proposal
With the information from the discovery, we put together a clear scope: what we are going to do, in what timeframes and with what deliverables, always prioritizing what can have the greatest impact in the short and medium term.
Definition of included services (branding, web, content, decor, studio, etc.).
Clear deliverables per phase (e.g., logo + basic manual, website + booking system, photo bank, etc.).
Estimation of times and stages.
Overall budget and payment method (no numbers on the website, this goes in the proposal you send).
3. Creative Landing
Before large-scale production, we aligned the creative direction: mood boards, references, brand guidelines, and initial examples to ensure we were all on the same page.
Visual mood board (colors, space references, photographic tone).
Alignment of tone of voice and main message.
Initial proposal of how your key pieces will look (logo, website, content, decor).
Customer feedback and direction adjustments before production.
4. Design and production
With the direction approved, we move on to production: brand design, graphic pieces, website, content, photo, video, decor or studio setup, depending on the project.
Visual identity design (if applicable) and adaptation to materials.
Design and development of websites or landing pages with a focus on bookings/contact.
Photo and video production on location or in studio.
Design, printing and preparation of physical material (vinyl, menus, posters, signs).
Preparation of decor, props and structures in the workshop.
5. Implementation and delivery
We don't just focus on the pretty file: we help everything land in real life, whether it's installing decor, setting up the website, activating forms, or preparing assets for social media.
Website or landing page publication and basic testing (forms, bookings, payments).
Delivery of brand manual and brand kit ready for your team to use.
Delivery of organized photo and video bank.
Installation of physical material on site (according to scope).
Delivery of templates for social media and basic communication to the team.
6. Review and next steps
After launching, we review with you what's happening: what worked best, what can be adjusted, and what would make sense to do in a next phase to continue adding results.
Review of initial results (reservations, interaction, use of material).
Minor adjustments based on feedback and early metrics.
Maintenance recommendations or recurring content.
Monthly support options (if applicable: networks, content, campaigns).
What do we need from you?
To ensure the process flows smoothly and doesn't become endless, we ask for a few very simple things from the start.
A clear contact person
Someone who can make decisions, give feedback, and centralize communication.
Basic information organized
Previous logos, useful photos, menu, descriptions, business details, etc.
Realistic Response Times
Clear dates for reviewing progress and approving changes.
Trust in the Process
Clear dates for reviewing progress and approving changes.
Questions about the process
It depends on the scope, but most branding, basic website, and initial content projects take between 2 and 4 weeks. We'll give you a more precise estimate during the discovery call.
Yes. Although our studio is in Cabo San Lucas, we can work remotely on branding, web, content, and strategy projects for service brands in other cities or tourist destinations.
Yes. Some clients start with a website, a photoshoot, or a one-off campaign. The important thing is that we clearly understand your business objectives and context.
That's okay: we start with a basic brand and communication diagnosis, and we suggest where it makes the most sense to start based on your current situation.
Ready to start step 1?
If you've already envisioned your business in this process—with a clearer brand, a website that's actually used, professional-looking content, or a better-designed space—the next step is simple: tell us what you have in mind and we'll respond with a realistic proposal.
